Full Time Meat Clerk

Description:

The primary responsibility of the Full Time Meat Clerk is to provide outstanding service to our customers by ensuring their needs are met, exceeding expectations, and making each visit enjoyable. This includes preparing and cutting meat products, assisting customers with selections, maintaining cleanliness and safety in the meat department, and restocking inventory as necessary.

• PERSONAL SKILLS. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Must be willing to complete required training and work collaboratively with the team to improve customer satisfaction and sales.
• LANGUAGE SKILLS. Ability to read and understand simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos [in English]. Ability to write basic correspondence [in English]. Ability to effectively communicate with customers, clients, and associates in one-on-one and small group settings.
• MATHEMATICAL SKILLS. Ability to perform basic arithmetic calculations, including adding and subtracting two-digit numbers.
• REASONING ABILITY. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed instructions and handle problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS. Complete required training, including but not limited to: new hire orientation, customer service network, safety procedures, technical skills in meat handling, and product knowledge.
