Full Time Cake Decorator

Description:

As a Full Time Cake Decorator at Harris Teeter, your primary responsibility is to provide exceptional service by creating beautifully decorated cakes that meet customer specifications and exceed their expectations. You will ensure all cakes are decorated in accordance with company standards, while maintaining a clean and organized workspace. This role includes engaging with customers, ensuring orders are completed on time, and providing helpful assistance with cake selections and customizations.

• PERSONAL SKILLS. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Willingness to participate in and successfully complete required training and to work with the team to increase customer satisfaction and sales.
• LANGUAGE SKILLS. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos [in English]. Ability to write simple correspondence [in English]. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other associates of the organization who only speak English.
• MATHEMATICAL SKILLS. Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers.
• REASONING ABILITY. Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS. Complete the company's training program, including but not limited to: new hire orientation, customer service network, safety, product knowledge, and cake decorating techniques.
