As a Full Time Daytime Grocery Stock Clerk at Harris Teeter, your primary responsibility is to ensure our customers receive exceptional service by maintaining a well-stocked, organized store environment. You will be responsible for stocking shelves, ensuring merchandise is properly rotated, and assisting with product displays. Your role is vital in supporting the daily operations of the store, contributing to customer satisfaction, and keeping the store running smoothly during daytime hours.

• PERSONAL SKILLS: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to collaborate with team members and support customer service initiatives, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
• LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos [in English]. Ability to write simple correspondence [in English]. Effective communication in one-on-one and small group situations with customers and team members.
• MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers to ensure proper stock quantities and product placements.
• REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply basic understanding to carry out written or oral instructions. Ability to resolve problems involving stock discrepancies or product handling.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Complete Harris Teeter's training programs, including new hire orientation, customer service protocols, safety guidelines, and product knowledge.
